What would be your choice . I have my tc but thinking about buying a SRT4.What would you do?

tC if it had 4 doors.
SRT-4 if it had power windows in the back.
Didn't the TC just come out, and you already want to change? That doesn't make the TC sound too good. Financially stick it out with the TC for a bit you lost a years depreciation as soon as you drove it off the lot. As far as the deciding between the 2 well I can guess that the scion AKA Toyota is better built, but other that that they aren't really in the same league. Th srt4 is a far better performer but I am sure you already know that. If I had the choice between the 2 I would prolly go for the SRT4 but there is also a price and insurance issue to think about.

I just went and put a deposit on a Release Series TC!! Id stick with that, unless you are gonna race the SRT-4, im sure that the TC is WAY more solid!
stick with the Tc much nicer cars, if ya want speed get the supercharger when it comes out
Depends what you want to do. Just because you may want to race doesnt mean the SRT-4 is better. You have to remember Scion = Toyota. The tC replaced the celica. You dont race a celica in a straight line. Same goes for the tC. Sure the SRT-4 does better in a straight line. What about around a few curves?
Personally I like the looks of the tC better and the overall car. The SRT-4 I dunno just something about it I dont like.

As the others said, selling the tC just after you bought it brand new would be foolish. The SRT-4 may seem better in terms of engine specs, but the rest of the car is sub-par compared to the Scion.
The SRT-4 is good at going fast in a straight line, and thats about it. They handle decent, but probably not as well as the tC. The interiors are pretty crappy compared to the Scion - for $22K one would at least expect power rear windows. The SRT-4 is like the muscle cars of old - its a cheap, outdated economy car with a powerful engine, tall notchy shifter, so-so handling, and lots of straight-line acceleration.
Stick with the tC, and possibly invest in the TRD Supercharger that will be coming out soon - trust me, you will be much more satisfied in the long run with the Scion.

First of all your car is new and very good and quite possibly one of the best cars for under 20K (tC and the 3). Especially with the amount of potential it has and will come.
The SRT-4 is all out performance out of the box. The car is of the box loaded with performance, that is intended a road course or strait line. Also you have the convenience of 4-doors.
Thing is what do you want? Refined and quiet (what you have now) or best in class (overall) performance?
Down side I see from either, tC is not as fast as the SRT-4 (obviously) but the TRD S/C could help that. The SRT-4 exhaust can drone you out, Camaro style muffler can help there.
Personally you have a good base as is the SRT-4, but the difference is you have tC and it would be more cost effective to stay with the tC. But I reiterate what do you want?

I test drove a TC a month or so ago. I really liked it. My Son has an 04' SRT-4 and it too is a real nice ride. In reviewes I've read neither car is a great handling car. If I were you I would get the new SRT-4 ACR. With that car you get great power and great handling. Believe all the crap you want about weither the Toyota is better than a Dodge, but from my Son's experience. He has had Two SRT-4's and both have been trouble free. I think my Son's interior w/the Viper type seats is pretty sweet.

Just keep the Tc and get a cheap old car for speed and to mod
personally i dont like the TC's, something about the style just puts me off. I like the SRT4, i love the ground effects and the hood. Not to mention the power outputs it can generate. ANd it doesnt handle all that bad, i think .88g's on the skidpad. Id take a srt4 anyday over a TC. besides TC's are slow stock.

i don't like 4 door cars and i don't care what they call it, its still a neon. stick with the tC its a very sharp looking car.

For the money you would lose going from the tC to the SRT4, you'd better off SCing the tC.

Dude I have an srt-4 and its a sweet car, fast as fuc. And with minimal mods lets say $2000, that can put you in the high 12's easy. But I also hear they are bringing back the Mazda RX-7 so I highly advice you to wait buddy. Im waiting also.

A guy i work with has an RX-8, he hates it. It gets terrible Gas Mileage, and he said he cant even count how many times its had to be in the shop already. They do look sweet though. His last car was an RSX, he liked that way better
