if you read the post that you got that from, you would have seen how horrible his 60ft times were and how bad the wheel hop is. Motor Trend ran a 14.4 with the LSD in the Cobalt.

At Moroso in Aug I saw an Ion RL pulling extreamly low 15s as well (15-15.3) in 55-60 degree weather. Trust me I rememebr that cold night cuz I would never expected that cold here as I was wearing shorts. lol

well my friend with an Ion Redlines' best time so far at a track is a 14.8 and i wouldnt consider him an amateur with a manual car because his car before this one was an 01 Z24 with a 75 shot of nitrous so yeah, im not saying thats good or bad just giving an example.

best times at redline forums are high 14's. these cars are no competion for thr srt-4 at all. i'm willing to bet a 05 rsx will stomp one with the right driver.

like lsd is gonna make such a huge diiferance. maybe in the twisties but usually both tires hook in a straight line. i never had a peg leg problem in the z24.

wow your dumb, why dont you read about them before you make yourself look dumb like this. they get bad wheel hop, the lsd will help the launch a lot. it will beat a rsx i think, but i really dont think they will be running under 14.5 even with lsd, and htats iwht a good driver.

by the way have u ran yours yet??? im kinda curious to see what most people can do before i go out and buy one
its not gonna stop wheel hop drop that 4x4 and replace the control arm bushings and ad a strut tower brace that will help the wheel hop. and maybe some tranny and motor mounts. my friends cobra gets wheel hop does that mean he has no lsd?

i seen him around i had a 99z24 when he was driving the cav and we crossed pathes. seen him on archer in the ion a couple month's ago when i was in my friends 01 cobra. i don't know him i just remember the plate.

Well its fine to state one's opinion, but when it is completely baseless and factually wrong, it makes you look like a moron. And all you have to do is read a few of GGT's posts about the Cobalt and it becomes pretty obvious that he is a moron.
Just curious, how do you figure GM "Went for second and ended up third"? The Cobalt is a very competitive car in all its trim levels, from the base to the SS S/C. Its got a strong chassis, excellent engine, secure handling, and an interior on par or better than the competition - how does that make it "3rd place", and to what?
