Good kill by EVO. Pretty funny how excited those two guys were.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Unless you're Chuck Norris.
Then two wrongs make a roundhouse kick to the face.
Yeah I don't think that ferrari was trying hard either.
I think the ferrari actually got beat. The face of the ferrari passenger kinda leads me to belive he was surprised. Eh, whatever, funny vid though

To me it looked like the passanger was just laughing at the the guys in the EVO. To me it did not even look as though the Ferrari was giving it its all.
it should have been the vo out of the hole and the ferrari top end.
who knows what the guy has don tohis car thou.

I agree, I think he just raced to like speed limit.
It's still possible. That looked like a 360 spider, which has these stats: (according to supercars.net)
top speed.... 290 kph / 180.2 mph
0 - 60 mph.... 4.5 seconds
0 - 100 mph.... 10.6 seconds
0 - 1/4 mile.... 12.9 seconds
A well tuned Evo could hang with that Ferrari. However, these guys seemed VERY surprised, which leads me to this conclusion: They don't know that much about cars.
Considering that, they seemed VERY surprised about the win. That leads me to think that they aren't avid tuners, and probably only have a few bolt-ons on the car. If they had REALLY tuned the Evo, then 1...they wouldn't have been surprised by the win, or 2...
if they lost, they would have probably been pissed.
With that, although an Evo is certainly capable of outrunning a ferrari, I'm going to agree with most of you...that the Ferrari simply wasn't trying. There were obviously other cars on the road, and I wouldn't be pushing my $200,000 car either, and risk getting in a wreck.
still rather have the Ferrari anyday.

deff not trying, 400 hp >276 if stock
and i would assume the ferrari would be as light as the evo

thats very ignorant. how do you know either one is stock? the evo definetly wasn't if you listen.
19.2@104 2.0 60ft
does that work out? how many people actually read the sig....
LOL that's awesome.
Yeah the Evo definitely wasn't stock, and even if it was, it's possible he could've beat the Ferrari 0-60, but not from a roll like that.
The Ferrari was DEFINITELY trying, and that Evo definitely still kicked its ass, that video was awesome.
Yeah...not stock.

In fact, it's pretty nuts.
Just because they were excited doesn't mean they were suprised. Its just the actual accomplishment of doing it. It reminds me of some of the lilevo.com videos were you know he will rape that skyline or vette on the street, but hes still screaming like a schoolgirl when his old ass 4 cylinder does just that. I would too.
note the 276 if stock, was any of that hard to understand?
the evo would have to be modified to beat the ferrari or the ferrair driver was a bad driver
either way i really couldnt see a stock evo beating the ferrari, especially from a role, from a stop i may change my mind
Whos talking about stock cars? What self respecting person buys one of the easiest turbocharged engines to modify just to leave it stock.
Only $2,800 over the regular cost of an evo will get you 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and 1/4 mile in 12.7. You can buy them brand new from a dealer in ohio w/ full warranty already modified this way....
So it does not "take alot" to beat a ferrari when you can buy them brand new from the dealer this way.
