Goodbye Cavalier, Hello New Turbo Euro w/ 18"

WOW! Big rotors upfront, REAR disc brakes, power windows, and heated power mirrors! This must be heaven!

I traded my car in and actually got $2400.00 2000 base and I mean power nothing cavalier with 72,000 miles!

Best bang for the buck if you can find a '05 GLI in the color you want.

Sweet ride! Welcome to the family!
Check out www.vwvortex.com for all the info you can imagine. Chip it and get some clear bumper lenses and most importantly, get a boost gauge, and you'll be all set!

Here are some crappy pictures of my 1.8T. GIAC chip, eibach pro-kit, koni yellows, awe-tuning boost gauge...and a few other minor things...

Yes, the GLI is the 1.8T engine.
I looked at the SRT4 and the colbolt ss, but they still look like high school sport compacts. I am done with school now and it just does not feel right driving a neon or a cobolt, they are fast though.
I think the german cars have more class, and the interior materials are so high quality.

Plus it is a 4 door sedan! No more people climbing all over my interior to get in.

The only thing to look forward to from here is an M3 or an S4.

This car gets better gas mileage than my cavalier 2.2L ohv!

I've got a whole new world to learn about. The chips, and boost, the right way and the wrong way.

Nice! I love the GLI's. If I was in the market for a car I'd definitely consider one. Congrats man!

Dude! I feel the exact same way you do about my Jetta! No more sport compact for me either! You have a lot to learn, i know i spent a long time reading up on things before I started modding. But read everything you can, learn, and do it once, do it right!

PS- Again, Chip should be the first thing, and clear side bumper lenses hehehe

My buddy has an '05 GLI also. I am not personally a big VW fan but the car does turn heads an it is pretty nice looking. Congrats on the new car, it's sharp looking.

Have a good one,
Justin
