You definitely see a lift difference in the before and after pictures.
The rig looks good fudd. Rock on with the woodgrain trim. I love it. Rancho is pretty good for their lifts. My buddy is riding a 3" also and really enjoys it.

You have to remember, the new tires are 2-3" taller as well so they fill up the wells more. I wasn't looking for a monster lift like you see the rednecks with their fullsize pickups and super swampers who never go off road. I want a setup that will give me the clearance for bigger tires but still be stable on the road. I like the setup esp w/ the adjustable trackbar it rides great. Other than maybe beefing up my axles (I'm looking at a ford 8.8 someone is selling around here
) that probably is going to be the extent of my mods on it.

well learn something new every day. I lifted a liberty a week ago and it had struts on the front. Not what I'd want to take offroad. CV joints and everything it just spelled expensive disaster eeech.

Yeah it is a nightmare to lift an IFS truck, I believe the KJ has Coil-Overs not Struts, but either way I'd rather have the Straight-Axle of the XJ over the IFS of the KJ anyday. That's the main reason why I want to get the ZJ so that I have a very-capable rig to take out on the West Coast Trails, not that my Durango isn't capable, I just like the old fashioned Manual T-Case and Straight-Axle of the ZJ over my Durango's Torsion Bar IFS

Yeah I guess technically they are coilovers, I just call them struts. It was actually pretty easy to lift, course I just had the guy take the strut assemblies to Pep Boys to take apart and put back together, that would have been the hardest part. I just don't like the idea of an axle in three pieces lol.
