Don't worry, it's not true...
I asked at the dealership I bought my Cavalier. They had one there, it did not have the LSD and Recaro's, but I asked them if they were orderable and they showed me the paper. They made a joke about it because they had to ask me what Recaro seats were.

its still an option, i test drove one yesterday and asked the salesman how much more it would be to get the LSD and recaro option and he said he could order it for me
they dont know what they are talking about.
