AWESOME!!! they ran a 14.7, thats great, because motorweek always runs about 2-3 tenths slower than the quickest of test times. the suspension and braking seemed to handle well through the slalom. damn i want one

That was a pretty cool video. I liked actually seeing the Cobalt produce numbers instead of just reading about it in a magazine or on the internet.

im sure some will get better times and some will get worse
it all depends on the weather and where you live
yeah good vid
it was a stone cold track
im sure that affected the 1/4 time a few tenths
there was snow on the road
good stuff
the more i see the more im liking the cobalt ss

Guess GM's numbers are't so quite off then
2006 Cobalt SS 2.4L 9.6 @74mph 1/8th mile w/2.28 60ft
i want one sooooooooooo bad. anyone got 22,000 i can have. i will pay the tax and for the preformance package
maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow....... but some day
i test drove one yesterday, after about 20 min of talking to him i had him down to 20,500 on a brand new one that was listed at 23...this was the first one in delaware so give it a couple months they should be going for cheaper.
i loved the interior, the one i drove had the leather seats with the red inserts, no LSD, but the ride was very comfortable and quiet, even comapred to the ion redline, and my friends RSX... felt more like i was inside a high end german sports car then a chevrolet, the trunk was huge, handling wasnt much more agile then my modded cavalier suspenion, but was quick and responsive....i had 4 people in the car but the car still pulled pretty good, exspeically once i hit 3rd you can feel that s/c pulling...the car has an awsome tone to it and overall i did like it, and im acctually impressed for once by a GM small car....all of you haters go test drive one, you might change your mind
I need to go test drive one.

I'm still apprehensive about e. I do want to test drive one and give it a chance. I'd like to put it up against my bro's SRT-4. I wonder if the salesperson would get mad if I took him to the track? Hehe

the stock exhaust on the ss has a real nice tone to it
My car was made with wrenches, Not chopsticks.
a guy with a stock redline ran a 14.3 not long ago. saturn had a problem with the ecu, so we all got reflashes, and there used to be a big spike of boost at 4k, now it pulls sooooo much harder all the way through. i cant wait to hit the track

man that guy dragging the ss hit the limiter about 3 times!!! good vid though, they seemed to love it. brett lemme know when you get that thing so we can do some swapping
