well guys my uncle want's to sell me his mr2..it's a 91 turbo with leather t-tops the 9yards...the car runs great and the body is mint..but i don't know much about this car ..or any toyota for that mattter..all i know is that my friend has a gt-4 with the same engine inside and his car is a load of problems..but then again it also has high mileage...so i just really want your opinions before i make my own.thanks

@!#$ yeah! the 3SGTE rocks, Best turbo 4 banger IMO, bulletproof engine damn good block, the problem with the early MK2 MR2s were a snap oversteer issue, but that can be corrected with slight suspension mods. Responds well to light mods. Its gettin to be a really rare car around here especially the Turbos.
Stock for stock, my 2.2 will kick your 2.2s A$$!

well..i could afford it....the price is good and i think it's beautiful..not the most practical car but who i'm i kidding..i'm 19 i'm nobodys chauffeur..the only bitch is like any turbo car it needs premium gas..witch here in montreal is over 1.00 a LITER..witch is around 4$a gallon for you americans..other than that i think it's a go..i'm gonna call the insurance compagny up..if the price isn't ridiculus ..i think it;s all systems go

Plan front suspension mods to get rid of snap oversteer. It needs stiffer springs in front. Other than that the cars are sweet !
