Scion’s fourth Release Series 1.0 model is a special-edition tC with a host of exterior and interior touches, including 18-inch Enkei alloy wheels, Absolutely Red paint, and unique upper and lower grilles. Only 2500 2005 tC Release Series 1.0 models will be available starting in April at a $1,775 premium over the base tC.
Also I got to see the TRD S/C for the t/C. Its a centrifulgal unit not roots, like the Vortech unit. From the looks of it, no intercooler from the kit. It even comes with its own filter too. When installed by the dealer you get a TRD 5year /60,000 mile warranty. It will be available in spring 2005.
Eventually you'll be able to get S/C strait from the factory, as I reported it not to long ago.

I'm waiting for the rumored dL sedan.
Supposedly it's supposed to be a 4 door version of the tC.
Now its all rumors right now......but that's what I would want me next car to be.
(Or a BMW 3 series

If i were in the market for a new car right now id be getting a tC.
tC's are hot!! what they need to do is make it four doors.. not a sedan tho. but the 2 normal front doors and then to rear suicide doors like on pick ups (F150 extended cab)

Just test drove one yesterday for the girlfriend. Nice car, but didnt expect what I saw with the panoramic roof. When you close the panel, so that everything is sealed, like on normal cars, this is almost like a window shade, so when you touch the roof, its only like vinyl separating you from the moonroof, not an actual panel

more appealing with the supercharger, but ive seen them in person, and they just seem too plain from the side imo
any word on power gains from the s/c
or pics of the new package for the car?
I remember hearing that the TRD supercharger doesn't put out that much power.
I think it is in the vicinity of 35-45 HP.

prolly cuz theyll set it to like 4 pounds of boost with a crappy pulley

^^^^ You still loving yours???? How comfortable are the front seats head room wise?? Im 6'2'' and long waisted, have hard time driving some cars. Hows the gas mileage
I still ove my tC.Lots of room and the seats are coomfortable as hell.
