hey people i have a question and i need some opinion's!i need a beater but a reliable beater to drive back and forth to work.i found a 96 neon for $500 bucks the only thing that im worried about r the miles.it has over 200000 miles.my question is it worth it?its in real good shape and runs well.i jus don't wanna buy a pos you no.so any inputs will be great.if you guys thinks its a good deal im going to buy it 2morrow so let me no what u guys think!!!!!

lol I don't think i'd pay $500 for a 03 Neon with 20,000 miles on it, lol.

i bought my 97 escort with 214k on it for $500 last fall for a winter car. Suprisingly its been the most reliable car i ever owned lol. It now has 245K on it and runs great (i beat the living crap out of it too). i dont think an escort is a ton better than a neon but if its a just a beater car and its got highwas miles on it, offer like 350 for it.
