Real cars don't make power at the front wheels......

so where are the dubs all i see are 18" rims.....
wow, are they putting 2nd gen Cabrio front ends on those Mk3 GTI's....that's freakin awesome. my only beef with the 3rd gens is i hated the front bumpers....and the Mk4's had a much cleaner front end apperance.
almost makes me think about diving into a Mk3 Golf or GTI now.

Wow, all those VW's are clean as anything. I am not too knowledgeable in those cars much but they all look real nice. I would give anything to have an engine bay that looks as simple as that. Gorgeous.
Have a good one,
Justin
This March baby, getting a mkIV GTI, I love all those. My freidn has a 2nd gen cabriolet completly gutted with a 16v swap from a scirocco, that beast hauls and handles like a dream.
SSssssooooooooooooooooo, where are all the MK4s?
All i see are Mk3s and under

actually they are not far from that. My friend owns a 99 gti and he said that the biggest he could go up to is 20s. Granted they would look funny and stupid. But they can sucessfully accept 20s.
im actually surpirised that QWK2K2Z24 (sp) has not posted on this ... he loves showing his bros gti off.

Yea I know. Its not really a vdub post without on is it?
hey i have no info on VWs, what is with the shaved engine bays?
do they just lose all accessories or what? It look soo good just odd when compared to our engine bay
its the german style.. less = more.. shaved bays are usualy found on mk1 and 2's jus becuase they dont have that many accessories to begin with..
WHERE'S THE RABBIT PICKUPS?!?!?
the two corrados are beautiful

HHmmm, yes and no. The shaved engine bay has a lot to do with vintage and muscle cars, a lot of them go with the shaved engine bays and chromed out motors. That's where it came from. Most of the shaved engine bays you see up there are of MK2s with an engine swap (VR6). They hardly had any accessories which allowed them to have a shaved engine bay when they did the swap.
