"It has taken almost ten years, but finally another road car has travelled faster than the McLaren F1's famous 241 mph."

was there work done to that engine? Cause if so then it doesnt beat the Mclaren becuase there claim was to the fastest production car to date.
^^ well ... you are correct, but all they really have to do is sell atleast 10 and they beat the world record. Wheather they make 4 cars or 300,000 cars .. its still production.
dan
yeah i understand that. What i meant is, is it a factory car or did someone do work to it afterwards? I couldnt really understand what they were saying considering it wasnt in my language lol.
843 HP. Holy crap!

Aftermarket tuner not equal to production car. I think the next production car that will take the F1's record will be the Bently 4 turbo beast (still under testing).

If they make 30 identical tuned cars, then it's production.

That’s probably open to debate I don't know what deems it a production car. IMO its tuner car will never be a production car it didn't come from the factory that way.
Example. The fastest production corvette made to date would probably be the last z06 (go ahead and correct me If I’m wrong not big into vettes). But there are SEVERAL Lingerfeller Vettes out there. Are they a production car made on a assembly line somewhere? No they where hand picked and had certain items added/tuned to up the performance. There fore they aren’t as they came from the factory.

Wrong, fastest corvette ever was the sledgehammer vette. Look for it.

Whoops, missed the part where you said production vette.

Nice video. Would be even better if we could understand them LOL
On a related note, WS6 & SS also don't qualify as production because they did not come from the factory with those packages. They were sent to
SLP, then shipped to dealerships.
Back on topic: HOLY DAMN WOW

Motortopia.com! Thanks!
I remeber the McLaren test well. They had a warm gearbox, that was it. I wonder how long the Porche could handle the speed.
I don't know what the minimum number is to be considered "Production" but there were only 69 F1s avaible to the public.
The ending looked like he was cumming all over the car. nice. jerk, jerk, jerk, jerk - spotch! Ohhhh, yea baby! All over the front of it..... Mmmmmmm.......
IIRC...the Marinello is the fastest production car ever made..... at a tad over 250 mph.
