Sky with a ls7 sounds better.
If you put a big V8 in it, however, it would need to have the same transmission setup from the Vette, otherwise it would be a rock in the front with almost no weight in the rear. Not that power isn't important, but good handling, especially in a small roadster, is even more important.

the former." - Albert Einstein
Still even. the Ls motors are relativly light compared to most v8's. But obviously not as light as the eco. Still i bet it would ad between 300-500lbs more. I would guess that the sky pretty even weight distribution because the power hardtop retracting roof adds weight. So v8-rearwheel drive would maybe make it a 60/40 split. Not suer im no engineer.. yet. But just to take in to consideration.
what kinda hp you think we could crank out of it based upon the 2.0 eco?
w/e you feel like building it to do
id rather the solstice dut to the fact if 5k cheaper and you can put the 5k into the car and make it faster than the sky
solstice has much smoother shape. i hate the progressive futuristic shapes of the sky. plus i think the solstice looks a little aston martin like. make me feel rich.
pontiac updated thier Fueling zone website of the solstice which confirms the price below 20k starting and about 22k for the model in the pic, 50/50 distro, 4 wheel independant suspension, .90 lateral gs , bilstein(sp) coil over shocks. and SUMMER 2005. i wonder if theyll be available for test drive soon!? I am IN FuFkING LOVE. now we start the fund, who wants to donate to it?
forgot to add DOHC 2.4l ecotec at 177hp/166lb-ft
