What kind of driving do you typically do? If you commute long distances to work and the T/A would be your daily driver, that would kind of suck on your gas bill. If that isn't the case, then I would jump on it.

They really don't get that bad of gas mileage as long as you keep your foot out of it. My 6spd LS1 GTO is rated 29mpg highway!!
Although I will probably never get that, because what fun is owning a 350hp car if you're never going to open it up? I have heard of T/As getting as good as 25mpg.

I seem to remember you leaving work early in your Sunfire with just a few inches of snow on the ground & then saying it took over an hour to go a few miles... something along that line. If you can afford to take the day off every time it snows & you enjoy a large gas bill... then by all means do it

yes those car get great gas milage, at least i know the 6spd do its pretty nice doing about 70 at 1k rpm
