actually he is correct, your ET does not start until you break the beams. the only thing affected is your rt. i could sit at the line for 10 seconds but still run a faster et than you if my car was faster. you would have a faster rt but thats all.

Yea its to bad that the supras do not have to run factory 6 spds in the street class.If they did shepherd might have won instead of gary white.Since the dsms seem able to run in the 8s with factory trannys.Something the the supras can not seem to do.Street class ya right take away the slicks and powerglides and it would been dsms dominating again like the old days.I miss the old days ha ha those dam supras I say put them back on treaded street tires and 6 spds again

I didn't say anything about domestics doing it, I know theres some other imports that do though.
Just thought if a lowly "POS unreliable mitsu" stock manual can do it semi-reliablely, then surely the "gods gift to men" supra could handle it. One domestic I know of is the fastest 6 speed viper runs 8's. Not that I wouldn't give my left nut for a 9 second supra or anything, just bitching.
