Ran across this on our local Craigslist.
1975 Ford Maverick. I remember when these cars were common. Nothing fancy during the time - never even came with full gauges. seemed like every domestic had some version of green interior back then too. These cars - as was most Fords of this era were notoriously hard on gas. These Models could suck down nearly as much gas as a Torino, which had about the same mileage as the LTD's. '75 was the beginnings of the Converters along with the unleaded fuel , plus the "Electronic Ignition" which had started coming out in 1974. "74 was the first year of those crash proof heavy duty bumpers. Uncomplicated and easy to work on. If it had spark and you had a little gas to pour down the carb - they would fire up.
Not the cheapest offering from Ford, far for the top - it kinda represented the class our J-Bodies filled back in 1975.

I don't think mavericks even had gloveboxes...
The early grabber mavericks with 302's are pretty slick cars.
