I recently got back into Motocross after about 10 years of not riding. I picked up a KX 250 off craigslist and started hitting some tracks with a few friends. For the second time in my life, im hooked. Gonna race this coming weekend for the first time since 2000. Anyway, i quickly grew tired of the OEM looks of my bike so I did something about it. I decided I wanted to make it all white, and soon found out how hard it is to find white plastic for 03-08 KX's. Then i found a thread on thumpertalk that showed 450 plastic was possible. I used 06-08 450f shrouds, and 09-10 front number plate and front fender. I had to get the rear fender from Great Britain. I also got new side panels, a seat cover, and some black fork guards. Heres the before and after:

Badass, Looks way better. Seeing threads like this makes me wish I still had my old 97 RM125 that I had when I was in Jr. high. Keep us posted on your race.

liking the EF in the background, but yeah motocross is fun, just tracks are shutting down around my area. but anyway bike looks tits. Hopefully when my KTM 400exc gets rebuilt i wanna run newer plastics and set it up for supermoto and get it tagged for a gas saver lol.

but yeah man i miss 2 strokes. there isnt anything like hitting the powerband and revving the @!#$ out of it.

That EF is my 900 dollar beater daily driver. She has her quirks, but I love her. Sumo's are a ton of fun, i used to have a DRZ 400 SM, fun bike.
