Buenos Aires, Argentina - Chevrolet its world premiere at the 5th International Motor Show in Buenos Aires, the Chevrolet Cobalt Concept, a sedan that has among its highlights with a spacious interior and refinement in their endings, only comparable to the upper segments.
Developed by General Motors Tech Center in South America, Cobalt, in its Concept, which can be seen at the Hall of Buenos Aires from 17 to 26 June, is painted with unique painting "Smoke Beige".This vehicle was developed from research that revealed the importance of interior space in compact cars, with sophisticated finishes and equipment capable of locating this sedan, a stretch of much broader segment to have the price of a compact car, but offering space and comfort of vehicles higher categories.
"The Cobalt is an important vehicle in our strategy to be a versatile model.Its configuration combines the everyday with trips over the weekend with family and luggage, always with great comfort, performance and efficiency in fuel consumption.It is a car that brings a number of differentials that certainly will attract a wide swath of consumers, "said Jaime Ardila, President of General Motors South America.
DNA along the lines of global Chevrolet Cobalt was born to satisfy the most diverse markets.What is striking in this sedan, the size and raked windshield, which gives it interior space and excellent visibility.

Another feature of this concept is the glass roof that allows natural light to pass to the cabin and has also has a lighting system consisting of two rows of blue LEDs, increasing the feeling of space inside the sedan.
To meet the different needs around the world, the Cobalt will be equipped with a range of four-cylinder engines in the range of displacement ranging from 1.3 to 1.8 liters, with manual or automatic transmission, running on ethanol (Flex Fuel) gasoline or diesel, achieving an optimum balance between performance and fuel economy.
The GM Design Center in South America has also developed an aerodynamic kit for the Cobalt, in addition to give a sporty (alloy wheels 17 "with tires 255/45 R17), improving the aerodynamics of the sedan, reducing their consumption.Added to this, this Concept is equipped with dual chrome exhaust.
Interior refinement
With the right combination of wheelbase and calibration of the suspension, the Cobalt was designed to ensure superior to the existing handling in its segment, achieving excellence in both stability and comfort.
As for Inside, the Cobalt is finished in two shades of warm gray: a darker, called "Urban" and the color "Very Light Platinum", clearer, that further enhance the feeling of interior space. The team design also used a similar coating timber in parts of the panel and the center of the wheel.
