My honda died on me the other night and I when I popped the hood the tach signal wire was grounded to the dizzy housing.
I was wondering if this would burn up a ICM?

What is the tach signal wire attached to? Remote start? Aftermarket tachometer? FMU?
Also what is the other end of the wire tied to? An injector? Straight to the ICM?
its the factory tach output for the ecm.
