Take the honda fit for example - weighing in close to 3000 lbs, or my damn solstice weighing the same. I would pass on all the modern crap if they (not just honda) could put out a ~200hp four cyl that weighs less than 2500 lbs.
As far as this car is concerned, why do they need the big ass baller wheels? Stuff like that is just not necessary especially in this segment. Save me 30-40lbs of rotating mass and let the kids who want wheels get aftermarket - because they probably will anyways...
