So yesterday in FL there was a car show at the Air Armament Museum outside Eglin AFB. My fiance and some friends entered. I went to it last year and was decent, but not many sport compact cars or imports. They're geared heavily toward muscle cars. They had a ton of classes for those. After talking to her here is some of the things I noticed that were pretty jacked up.
A Chevy Malibu won first in import wild.
My buddy took second in Import Mild and another buddy took 3rd in same class with his NSX. They got beat out by a really nice Lexus IS250. Which neither one were upset about. Its crazy though because both of their cars are very very heavily modified. They should have never been in Mild class to begin with.
They had a chevy Cobalt class. Only two people entered. They took 2nd and 3rd, lmao. Huh?
They had a ford class. A completely stock 2010 Mustang GT won first place. It had less than 1k miles on it. It was a chick and she beat out some really nice old school Mustangs and Fairlanes.
Sounds like a pretty jacked up show, but over all she said some nice cars there. I'll post some pics up later.
