It's definitely a moving target, this elusive "beauty" thing. Half the vehicles listed above don't bother me. (i.e. I think the Gumpert Apollo is hawt, but then a supercar is supposed to look like it came out of the fever dreams of a lunatic -- sort of like the person who would actually drive one at its limit.)
About the only thing I might add to this discussion is that the most pathetic decade for ugly cars was the 80's, in my opinion. If not so much downright ugly, then certainly they were regrettably boxy and dull. With the possible exception of the Grand National, Camaro, and a few other "sporty" cars, which were mostly crippled by environmental requirements anyways, the entire lineup never ceases to remind me of the sort of cars my folks drove into the ground while I grew up. Between the oil crisis, economic slowdowns, and lack of innovation, I believe it was a time of utterly forgettable vehicles.

first and second gen supras
actually thats a mkII,and a mkIII
this is a mkI
they were called celica supras back then (sorta like tempest GTOs) but they sold so well toyota made them into their own car with the mkII supra.. so it sort of is the first gen, but they're always referred to as mkII so technically its the second generation.
my addition: ford taurus
The Isuzu Vehicross is cool and aggressive looking and has the performance to match. The Pontiac Aztec however is so ugly that it looks like two ugly cars mating.
Just plain bad any way you look at it.
