Actually, with a T56, you can fill the tranny with fluid by pulling the shifter off.

holy god thats painful to read. reminds me of a car i worked on a coulple weeks ago.
lady took her Forester to some dickhead who didnt know what he was doing while she was on vacation. came back home and her car started bucking and jerking at low speeds bad. turns out instead of draining engine oil this dumbass drained all the tranny fluid out, realized what he did wrong and instead of filling the trans back up filled the front diff with ATF to the very top to the point of pouring out. (front diff is attatched to the front of the trans on subarus) then he goes on to change the oil. lady drove 400 miles to get the car back home with maybe 1 quart of tranny fluid and a nasty mixture of ATF and gear oil in the front diff. lucky she didnt completely kill the trans. 2 flushes on both the trans and diff and a new trans filter later the car felt almost normal, but she'll most likely have trans and AWD issues down the road.
just goes to show something like this isn't unbelievable, there are a lot of stupid people out there who should not be working on cars.
the guy is def a tool either way though. and @!#$ retarded to boot, lol.

Same with my NVG3500. Sure beats trying to fill it from under the truck.

you laugh, but I once had a buddy who poured rice into his throttle body.
That was 5 years ago. Car is still running to this day.
