Hi guys, recently my dad drove the van (04 chevy express 1500) and noticed that the a/c wasnt working. I went autozone and bought a couple of those r134a cans. After about half a bottle i noticed that there was no change in temperature. I noticed that the compressor would only cycle for about 2 seconds (max ac) and then shut off for about 10 sec and start again for another 2 sec and so forth. Anyone has any idea on what to check? we had not used the a/c since last year around september.

as mentioned above: 04 checy express 1500 with the 5.3l engine and 40k miles. Any ideas will be appreciated. thanks!
