In all honesty, my thoughts on the grill... Get the small dings hammered straight, but that big gash on the lower passenger side should stay. Gives it character. If that's the only dent in the grill, I will love it lol.

On the other hand....you have other fingers.

It will have a tool box setup between the cab and rear suspension.

Thhe grill will stay as is- i feel it gives it some character, the truck lived a hard life I'm just happy it polished up quite well.

I love it, any plans for the interior? I think a nice set of gauges in-layed into a nice piece of wood like maple or cherry would really set this thing off

Kind of like this Cobra's

or possibly something like this

but of course real wood.

Cant wait to see more updates!!!

OMG if he did it out of Cedar, it would look AMAZING and flow with the car great, as a clear stained Cedar comes out yellow [light part of the wood] and purple [dark rings/lines in the wood] LIKE SO: ....this one pic obviously with more dark on this peice, but u can see the yellow color in the lighter section of wood

i say, beat up on it a lil more, when u said gash in the grill, i thot something gnarly hit it and mangled it up.
i looked and saw lil baby dents. it doesnt look mean enuff, haha! i would like to see some actual dents in that bad
boy, make her look mean!

also, love the straightness of the front bumper and how simple it is.
but to me, i just feel something is missing. may i suggest cutout holes
and some driving/fog lights?? its just screaming to be broken up by something
when you look at it head on!

im kinda iffy on leaving it banged upmyself. just seems the rest of the build is very very clean and then theres a dented grill. kinda almost doesnt look right because the rest of the truck is so clean. maybe just me.

I think the whole frontnd will look much different with a polished stainless front bumper. Not sure if it will get lights on it or not- thats just a detail and one of those "later" decissions. If it does get lights it would be a row af small lights all the way along the bottom.
The grill will stay for now, likley for good. Its not really one of those things you just order new (or find in perfect shape used), and it certainly doesnt bother me enough to worry about.

I love it. I think the row of lights would be sweet.

I'm glad you're keeping the grille as is. It's nice to have an original untouched (besides being polished) part there to show where this truck came from and how you breathed new life into it =).

Keep up the good work and thank you for the updates!

Wiring and plumbing is done (or very close to it) Much thanks to Oldschool for wiring diagrams.
Doors are mounted- still need to redo a couple pieces for the mirror brackets, find thinner door seal rubber so the doors close better. Interior needs to be assembled- carpet, seat installed and a lot of trim (that can wait till i start driving it)
Need to finish the wheel adapters (still) and a few other small things.
Its slowly getting there between lots of others things in life that are happening as well. No pictures for now.

And all this time Ive thought I was driving on rubber bands

I freakin love this truck can I borrow it for a weekend

that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra
scary to me. There's a large, out-of-focus monster, roaming the countryside.
