Cadillac today announced expanded availability of Recaro performance seats in the 2010 CTS Sport Sedan. Recaro 14-way adjustable seats are now available in limited quantity as a $2800 option on the Premium and Performance trim levels of the 2010 model CTS Sport Sedans.
Previously, Recaro seats were exclusively offered on the 556 hp CTS-V high performance model. The popularity of the option on the V-Series model spurred Cadillac to extend the option further. Recaro is the considered one of the world’s preeminent performance seating manufacturers. The company has deep experience in motorsports that it applies to production auto seats, including those available in some of the world’s most prestigious high-performance cars.
In the CTS, the Recaro seats include adjustable back and thigh support for the driver and front-seat passenger, including a seat cushion extender, among the 14 total adjustable elements. The seats feature French-stitched leather, with microfiber suede inserts in the center sections of the cushions and seatbacks, as well as heating and cooling functions.
Recaro seats will also be available this summer on the new 2011 CTS Coupe and CTS-V Coupe luxury sports cars.

Wow those are beautiful. Good idea for sure. What I'm really. Tripping on though is the steering wheel I'm those pictures. Are the CTS's steering wheels really suede or is that just for show?

Nope. It's an option.
It's even on the shift knob.

The interior/seat pictures that you see is the CTS-V, but that is what is trickling down to the lesser CTS. The suede steering wheel is a option that requires the Recaro seats, also the suede steering comes with a suede shifter as well. It is not for show, but it is a real production option.
