Iv tried looking up the specs but I get to many different answers i wonder which is which.
Some guy at work has a 06 TL base model with the 6 speed. 3.2 258hp 3580 pounds.
No intention of racing this ass hat, i just want to know how fast this car is...
Damn I didnt know they had that much power.
The TL-S has like 286 i think...
not sure but... DO WANT haha
Ever since they came out in 04, i've wanted one of these.. love em.. 04-08=the best style.. newest ones are ugly IMO. I got to drive one at work one day and it was pretty nice, but i believe it was the base model with the smaller engine(3.2).. i wouldn't say it was fast, but faster then some other cars ive driven..

Yeah im actually asking about the base model. Some kid at work wont stop talking about how its the fastest thing under the sun. Says he would smoke a v series caddy...i know its not that fast but would like some actual specs...Not that it matters hes to @!#$ stupid to understand that just because its a 6 speed doesnt mean its fast...
Well, it sure is a quick car, especially when you get in the higher RPM ranges. But honestly, its specs match what it's performance is, so it's no "crazy beast" if that's what he's thinking.
The 07-08 TL Type S is probably the best one they ever made. And then they offered the factory A-spec packages.
Quick for what it is, absolutely. A
fast car, meh.

The 3.2 has a very nice powerband - nice torque from 2000rpm to redline. I drove a 6 speed and let me say the honda V6's are nothing like their 4 cyls. They have good torque. It does NOT have VQ35 peak power though
I thought the LSD only came in the Type-S models
