id never put wheel locks on any of my cars , ill stick to regular lugs
you can loose the key , when lost you can damage the wheels trying to get the lock out , some fool trys to steal your wheels , screws up the wheels trying getting them off , and vandalizes the whole car , they come back stick gun to your head and take the whole car
atleast the guy got a free jack outta the deal , LOL

Wheel locks are really quite useless. They might add a couple minutes to how long it takes to get all the wheels off.

x2.. same with a car alarm.. if someone wants your car they will get it.. but for 90% of the thieves out there that don't know what they are doing and trying to get a free(most likely random non planned) score.. its going to deter them away.. not to mention on wheel locks.. yeah doing it to one is great.. but then you got 3 more to do as well and depending on the locks that can be a pita.. I know when i had my 18s i had 2 different sets of locking lugs on each wheel, not to mention the center caps bolted on with little hex cap screws, so if they could get the center caps off they'd have another surprise..

They dont stop anyone around where I live. Most of teh wheel thefts around here are not done by some random guys. Its usually a stolen van, with a stolen plate on it, and 3-4 guys that hit a couple lots a night. They hit the last dealer i was at several times. 15 minutes and they had 8 sets of wheels. All had wheel locks and they did not have a key to any of them.
It might deter the little punk kid that is looking to make a quick score but that is about it.
You just have to make them harder to steal then the guys down the road. Not impossible to steal.
That sucks but at the same time is rather funny.
