Hey guys i recently sold the 454SS and im picking up a 99 6spd Vette tomorrow. Woooooot!!! ill miss the truck greatly, but once im behind the wheel of a corvette im sure ill love it just as much as the truck.

im not a huge fan of the silver at all so im going to paint it satin black.. somthing like this..
and ill be buying these wheels from my boys Z06..
I get to drive this time right?

thanx bud, i wish i coulda kept the truck and bought the corvette but i aint made outta money lol.. the vette will be just as sick as the truck, just gimme alittle while..
to be honest i sold the truck for more than i bought the vette for, and for some strange ass reason my insurance is cheaper with the vette.. but those are def not the reasons i did this switch. ive wanted a corvette since i was a little kid playing with hotwheels/matchbox, building lego cars, and playing with lincoln logs hahaha.. my dream has come true
gonna turbo or s/c this like the 454...i forget what it was lol.

most likely s/c it like the truck.. i love that immediate power a s/c gives u but FI is very expensive so it wont be for awhile. vette off the bat is faster than the truck was so, ill prolly be happy with the power its got for awhile till i save my pennies for a s/c

thanx, but tell GM that cause those are the factory wheels.. the silver looks better in person but im still not sure if its worth repainting to get rid of it yet

Vettes are addictive and SO much fun!
Not a fan of the silver, but it looks a little better with the vent grills out. The wheels you want will look much better than the wagon wheels.
If you're interested I have some OEM 03 Z06 shocks (less than 14k miles on them) and Hotchkis sway bars for sale.
i could possibly be interested but i have to recouple from buying my GHL Bullets exhaust

They're both off the car, but I might keep the sway bars. I'm putting the 03 Z06 and the 03 Cavalier up for sale today. Whatever one sells first I'll keep the other one.
