Why are the Saleen numbers on the wrong side of the bumpers?
All Saleens I have ever seen have them on the drivers front, and passenger side rear. 100% opposite of the pics

Am I missing something? It's still a used 2 year old MUSTANG. And in all reality what you see on the screen doesn't always mean it's real. i.e. F&F cars like the orange Supra, only one was tricked out and had a 5-speed, the rest were non-boosted automatics, same with the green eclipse. So who's to say this was even a real Saleen? It would seem someone already pointed out the numbers on on the wrong side. Saleen may have made the cars for the movie but it doesn't need to be the real deal on the screen, just look like it. The sound effects department can add a V8 growl to a base model V6 mustang with body kit for much much less that it would cost to have a fleet of Saleens. Remember there were no detailed interior shots of the car, nor were there any under hood shots in the movie. So it maybe sold for so cheap because it's a base model V6 Mustang with paint and body kit. It may have been in a movie but it's not even worth the cost of a real Saleen.

Just like Jooky said... even if it wasnt a real saleen they could have even did a mild v8 swap into it to save a good bit of money. It wouldnt be the first time they had to mod a car to use it in a movie, plus save money.
But either way... beautiful looking car never the less.

why so hard to believe its an authentic saleen? they only needed 3 of them to film the movie.
It's still just a used saleen and they have horrid resale as it is.
