Well, thanks to the "Cash for Clunkers" program, I finally go rid of my 1997 Pathfinder. I pick up my brand new Black Sand Pearl Scion xB tomorrow night! No options/extras now, but that will come in time. I'm wicked excited to pick it up. I haven't bought a car simply because it was enjoyable in years.
I apologize for the cell phone pics:

Nice, I wanted to do the same with an older car i kept on the road for my little brother but i wanted a 3500HD and well.....apparently that doesn't qualify....go figure...
Yeah, that kind of goes against the whole point of the program....

Not my taste in cars, but nice job on picking it up. I'm a bigger fan of the XAs, too bad they quite making them but at least my wife has one.

im curious....what was the sticker price and what did you get away with, out the door? my roomie wants a new car and im just now starting to help her look into one because of the program
Sticker price is $17,370. Scion is like Saturn used to be -- pure pricing, no negotiation. I honestly didn't feel bad paying that, though, as you get A LOT for the money. Look at it this way. It uses the same drive train as the Camry, is roomier, cooler looking, and more comfortable. But it's $5k less than the Camry. I'm VERY happy with the purchase, in all aspects.

Thats faster than a J-body isn't it? lol
Yeah, the 2.4L in the xB is a snappy engine. Very much leaves a smile on your face.

Went to the site, but never clicked that application....
Oh well. I have nothing to hide.

god I hate that guy. I hope that when he dies, it is from some over the top BS conspiracy that he always seems to think. Why doesn't that dip@!#$ just move to a different country? He can take his foil hat with him too. I can't believe people take him seriously.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.
