I was wondering if anyone would be interested in O2 simulator (including heater circuit sim) for pretty much any car / engine. I'm working on an idea to make a plug and play setup so that all you would have to do is connect it to your O2 sensor connector and mount it somewhere, preferably in a dry location but they will be sealed.
The only thing is I would need an old O2 sensor or just the connector off of your engine so I could wire it up for you.
I could also use a little help from people. I need the resistance in the heater circuit of the O2 for many engines that are in J's, such as the 2.2L , 2.4L , Ecotec 2.2L.
Please let me know your thoughts or if you have the heater specs for those motors or any other common ones.
Thanks,
Steve
depends what you mean by a mechanical sim
depending on price I'm game.
I don't have the sniffer in my state so I just need to fool my own computer.
PM me if anything comes of this.
I'll probably forget the thread lol

This.
Plus I have never seen an electric one actually work correctly and not trip the CEL.

I've had good luck with the one's i've made so far
and i've heard that the mechanical one's dont always work
fyi caspers electronics has already been hit hard by the EPA for o2 sims , and as hard as they were hit , you would get bowled over into the 1800's
the spark plug anti fouler is about the best way , and it keeps the o2 in the system
This is currently up in classifieds. If people could try to put an ohm meter on there heater circuit that would be a great help. Thanks Every one
