the real question is who gives a teenager the keys to a car on a test drive with just himself and 2 other teenagers?????
In a Cavalier, the speed is electronically limited at 108. In a Mustang, they self-destruct instead.

with the way current gauges are setup, what the speedo is stuck on may or may not have anything to do with how fast the car was going. Clearly, they were bookin', but that speedo is not going to give you an accurate number. And what idiot salesman hands keys to that car to 3 teenagers?

Dumb people need to be lined up and shot
fines, tickets, maybe jail time, and of course a nice hefty car payment for full asking price. Sucks to have a car payment on a car he probably didn't intend on actually buying after the test drive, but I sure hope they tack that on there on top of the other legal @!#$.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

PFFT secret cams?! pm me if you want a real upgrade.
How does the crash test rating have anything to do with it when they were ejected?
That isnt the result of 100 mph front end hit bit that is definetly some carnage.
It also says that ONE of them got ejected. And if none of them were wearing seat belts and no one was seriously injured or killed, it has everything to do with it. Honestly, if they all died, but the cabin was still in tact mostly, it wouldn't even be a concern. The seat belts are part of the restraint system that has to do with the safety rating. I don't see how you could argue that the safety rating has nothing to do with it, even if they did all get ejected...

and natural selection misses it's mark yet again...

From the story:
Quote:
Most of the damage to the Mustang is concentrated toward the front end of the car and the cab is still pretty much intact.
Sorry reading isnt the best for me late at night.
