2010 Honda Fit LX
^not with the celvete bearings and kigley main girddle
. 8-900hp on a 1000+hp bottom end should last awhile. i hope.
Can you say "zero hope for traction without a complete retooling of the front-end"?

three letters for you, AWD. not to mention the slicks in the last pic, in case the front slips a little with the 5k launches. i have the susp. set with the rear 2in lower and less rebound in the front, so the weight transfers and plants. hoping for 1.9-2.1 0-60ft's with the 6puck and .slicks
It's funny how people talk about their all-mighty AWD being the answer to drag racing traction when time and time again RWD provides the absolute best weight transfer and traction, but meh whatever. I like high horsepower cars so I will be watching this thread. But just so you know 1.9-2.1 with AWD is nothing to brag about or look forward to. Especially if you are planning to put down more than 2 times the horsepower I had when I was pulling 1.8's all day...
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

1.9-2.1?????
That's all you expect??? I hope you are joking
I cut 1.5 60s consistently
Good luck on the build man, I wanna see what you can do with it.......I have a few friends that have a very similar setup to yours....so it has some potential
thats a high guesstimation. figuring full interior, 2 people and gas.
gutted to the bone or with this motor in the drag car thats a different story. drag car weighs 2,200 with full fwd drivetrain, and 1 driver.
Full interior, 226 WHP, and @!#$ty 205/55/16 RSA tires allowed me to pull a 2.0 60'. I would hope that you can do better with more power, less weight, AWD, and slicks.
i think it will do much better. but i dont wanna get my hopes up with the motor in a 3,400lb car. put it in the drag car, and max the 16g at 27lbs with the meth on and i bet it would pull a 11.0-11.3qtr.
I pulled a 2.1 in my auto l61
lol
My car is a little over 3500 with me in it on any given day, and on the old setup had 465 rwhp. Like I said, I do 1.5 60s all day long.....you better be able to do just as good with AWD
i hope so, my first gear syncro is kinda gay and thats why im worried mostly. once i have the tranny rebuilt with a shep kit it will be no problem. arp head studs, titanium wrist pins, rock oil pump/cover assembly, kigley girddle showed up today. speaking of below 1.50-60fts my brothers 91gsx auto with 16g, 2nd gen exh mani, ported intake mani, intake, 3in o2 housing and down pipe with WG dump tube, using a push button shift box to control the trannys shift silenoids and up'ed line pressure. S.S. braided brake lines. this thing does some damage. i got it to build 7psi @ 2200 rpms while power braking. the second i let off the brake the front was in the sky and my boost gauge was buried past 20 psi and the rpms were around their limit of 7500, i immedately hit the up shift button twice and was literally at 65 mph holding 14 psi in those 4.5-5 seconds. fastest "off the line" car i have ever driven, i cant wait till he finishes the accuation system of his compound turbo setup.
I pulled a 1.7 in the 240 with bald futura super sports. 205/60/15. stock 4;06 gears and a lsd helps though.
i hope with the tubeless slicks ill be cutting below 1.4s-1.5s, hopefully ill be able to grab the 0-60mph in 3.5-5s range. i just found some one with a new tre stage 2 lsd tranny with double syncrod 1/2/3 gears for 1200 still in the plastic never seen oil, thats a steal theyre normally like 2700+shipping. hopefully if i can fund that tranny in a few weeks by the time doug brunkhurst is done doing the machining on the block...then i can just destroy this tranny with some 6-7k launches.
Is this my tranny you speak of?
$1600 and I'll deliver the mofo
^hmmmmmm i think so, i just have to get the cash togather
i wouldnt make you drive the whole way, id meet u half way at least.
^ thats a really good point. if you really want bullet proof reliability there are very few companies that offer pretty much universal transfer cases utilizing swapable mounting plates.(orign. designed for trail trucks then mini sized, oem shafts may need mod.)but its gonna cost 3-4k. shep has some modified transfer cases or they did at one time for much better rates, and a decent amount of companies make cvs but there around 300-400 per shaft. then you have to do your rear and front diff in lim slip also. all togather wayyy expensive.

Sounds good. It isn't going anywhere. Just let me know and I'll hop in the car and go
