It actually makes more sense than a bigass spoiler on the REAR of a FWD car....

So if you really think about it...

Innocently eye-balling tC now for it's aerodynamic additions.

Is that car trying to catch air where 747 planes fly?
I really don't see this working any better or just plain work then front splitters, spoilers, or purpose made front bumper.

No sh!t. Those are two of the most improperly used words around here. LOL. That, and they're, there, their, where, we're, and were.

As for the spoiler, yeah, ugly as sh!t, but it's obviously working for them. I have no doubt it gives better downforce than splitters and front bumper spoilers.
There's more air passing a larger surface area unhindered by disruption from other parts of the car.

But yeah, some dumbass is going to put something like that on their car just because it was done on a race car.

I agree. I usually prefer the function over form idea.... but that looks just flat out gross.

im a person that is big on how things look but its a race car, it is built to go faster then other race cars, and when you beat track records by several seconds you have done something right. if that thing helps him out that much i'd rock it. who cares how it looks when your taking first place and big checks.

This times 54324...even if your just beating alot of others you did'nt before...as far as I'm concerned its worth it.

Remember the tyrell P34? Sure it was not the greatest success but it had alot of good things about it that most considered "stupid, weird, or overkill" about it. But in alot of cases the idea could have won races.
