Ok before i get flamed for posting this here instead of classifieds let me say this. It is not my car. I am not selling it, I am not getting anything from it. I just cant stand to see the thing sitting on the side of the road.
There is a 1987 Buick GNX sitting on the side of the road near my house in Machesney park, IL (about an hour and a half west of Chicago). The body looks perfect to me no visible rust or wear (needs to be washed though). Didn't get a chance to check under the hood but from what i could tell it has an automatic transmission. Also from what I can see the odometer is at 52XXX. Tag in the window says the owner wants $13,500 or best offer. I have the owners number please send me a PM if you want it.

That is a steal if it's a real GNX......
It's probably a grand national with gnx badges and fender vents.
I'll post some pics of it if i get a chance to run over an see it tomorrow.
Get a pic of the VIN while you are there. And the production # on the dash on the passenger side. please.
POST PICS!!!!!
"Remember do what you like because you have to drive it."--Me
GNX + 13k = FAKE or serious BS
also get pics of the rear diff , its very hard to fake the rear suspension/diff on a regular model
my guess its a regular GN/grand national , since most people dont know or confuse the 2
Even if it is a reg Grand National, its still a good buy.

Didnt get a chance to get over there today. will try my best tomorrow.
outside badging is not a true indication, id want to see the badge with number on the passenger side, also under the hood it would have the gnx windshield to the trained eye it also has a different intercooler as well, rear diff cover should have GNX embossed on it as well granted all these things can be swapped on
the only real way to tell is from the vin itself
even if it isnt a real GNX thats still a good price for a grand national

There should be a number on the passenger side dash... thats one of the easier ways to tell if its a GNX... I have a TRUE gnx for sale too if any one was looking for one.. #200... just unlike 99% of them it ours was not left alone ahah.. its now sitting at 650rwhp among many many! other things.
