Sweet jesus those cars look great in red. Congrats, and when does the modding start?

I want your car in my bed
Actually, since I drive so much - modding won't begin for at least 3 years. I don't want to void my warranty (I have 3 yr 100k bumper to bumper). I will probably be picking up some nice rims here in the next month or so, and I may do some visual upgrades - but nothing performance for quite a while. Yes... I suck.
wow those dash's are plain as fawk. that'd be my only complaint about it!
yes i own a J. blah blah blah....

It's a lancer man. What do you expect? lol.
It looks a bit better w/ the nav, but yea, it is plain. People don't buy these cars for the interior.
Can an aftermarket head unit go in there?
I dont like the wing, but other than that it looks nice.
maybe its just the design. idk.

I was thinking the same exact thing. It sure doesn't look like it in these pics. It seriously looks like it's built into the dash.

There's a pic off of evom... You need to replace the whole panel. Was a similar situation with the Bose sound system on the RSX.
I actually like the stock system... the interface isn't good by any means, but it serves its function. After you get it setup, it sounds pretty good for a stock system... immeasurably better than the Bose in the RSX.
The car is by no means perfect, and visually the styling could be better - mostly on the interior. Wing could be a little less huge and may fly away someday.
I'm willing to look past the car's shortcomings because it's certainly a hell of a lot of fun, it looks pretty good, and I don't see them every other stoplight.
At the end end of the day, I'm satisfied with my choice.
Nice car, I dig it. The interior is a little plain, but whatever.

I had to replace an entire dash piece on my 06 civic when I put my Pioneer headunit in as well. It was no big deal.

Car looks great. I would recommend you getting a 3M clear bra on the car before you get any rock chips.

I see you got the proper manual tranny, very nice!
I've been in both the manual and the electronic manual one and the proper manual feels a bit quicker.
Only done side is with the 5 speed is it kills fuel economy on the highway.
Either way, congrats on the purchase, LOVE the colour !!
I approve the purchase. BBS wheels are a must.
Very nice ride
I looked at a MR last weekend... is it true they only get 16mpg city??? I saw the sticker and thought this had to be wrong

I am lookin at Volks and Advans for rims, but I like the BBS rims on the MR. I'd probably pick up a set if I found them in like-new condition for a reasonable price. I have a few other things I am going to get before rims. Nice rims + rubber will cost like 3k. Must contain myself

I'm going to order a new shift boot and knob this week sometime. Also I'm doing pricing on clear bra for bumper, hood, mirrors, fenders etc....

Yea, that's about what I get. 16-18 city 22-23 hwy. The boost is difficult to stay out of. The range is rather poor too... sub 300 mi to the tank. Also, it would be very easy to get far worse than 16 in city
It's all about the fun factor
OMG I think that car is just Pure SEX. I want one!
Great pickup Sir
