just as the title states I am in need of the part number for the crossmember that runs directly under the transmission, its about in the middle of the vehicle, GMPD has the rear crossmember, and the back crossmember, but I dont beleive this is either one of those, its closer to the front, under the front doors.

looks like its held on either side by two bolts

also I am guessing the blazer and jimmy parts are the same, can anyone confirm?

and is this a part I can purchase used, or form the junkyark? I have been told by a friend that frame parts like this can only be ordered from GM. ??

its called a transmission crossmember and i believe the tranny mount is bolted to it so you might wanna get this done quick

what category would it be in on GM parts direct??

again, I can only find the rear and back crossmember, nothing for the transmission crossmember

Just go to the junkyard. Take some measurements and take a pic of the cross member on your phone and compare them to and s10 one. It would probably only be $20 for a trans crossmember
