Ive wanted on of these since i was in high school! the lowdown, a buddy of mine told me of a typhoon a buddy of his had that he needed gone by the weekend. Its a 93 GMC Typhoon with 76000 miles. its not perfict by any means, it was a rollover that the guy bought back and took the chassis and good parts off it, found a deciently clean 2 door blazer and brought it back. the truck runs amazing! interior is pretty clean needs a new radio and speakers. i got some of the body cladding with it. just needs a little tlc, but for the deal i got on it i was not gonna pass it up.
this thing is wickid! im more than happy with it! mods it has now are, 2in blocks, loosened the torsion bars, 2800 stall converter, MSD ignition, highflow water pump, boost controller set to 15psi, just changed the oil to mobil 1, and the stupid slap shifter.
the plans: i traded my Mazda for body work/paint job on it, im gonna try and find some pre runner fenders for it or make something outta metal. put stock blazer front and rear bumpers on it and the front valence with fogs. i would like a set of Z06 wheels but well see. im plannin on a badass suspension setup with 4 link rear and tubular front, big brakes all around. i wanna be able to drive it any where and rip up an autocross! should be a fun (extended) build.

friend of mine has one... got rid of the 4.3 turbo, and put in an ls1 and a bravada tranfer case and a low 12 second "blazer". granted it has one hell of a stall and slicks but still.

Like i said i got an unreal deal cuz the guy needed it gone by the weekend. I'd rather not say how much I paid for it, let's just say it's half the price of the cheepest one I found. And that was listed as a parts truck. I'm not sure on the plans as of yet just doing research on it now. I know I wanna go fast! And hug corners hard, prolly do a mini trucker setup with coilovers instead of bags

22psi/supporting mods on the 4.3l and my dentist's ran 12's. Did I mention the trans was skipping over 3rd and going 2nd to 4th when runing 12's? Haha. Good time @ the track that night.
Never launced in anything like that before, and don't think I will.
Wow man. That is a truck that I would kill for. DEFINATELY gotta check that out next time I am in Michigan.
