Not a big deal.....
Everyone that owns one of those vehicles will get a letter.
AT least it isnt as stupid as some of the other recalls that have been issued in the past.
^ like the sticker on the trailblazer, envoy wiper motor cover. or the brake hose sticker.
Having a car that could roll when parked recall is not equivelant as a sticker recall.

Oh, don't take me wrong Mr. Goodwrench-G-T. I know the importance of this recall, Having a car roll on you when you think it's in park is not something to be taken lightly. Matter of fact I think we had one Malibu already about a month ago with this situation we got a call back from GM engineering about that car asking what we did to correct it, I wasn't the tech on it so I don't recall what he did.
I guess a parking brake is no longer used by most people. I understand that this is an issue but with some common sense you can prevent your vehicle from rolling regardless of shifter location.
