well this is the main reason for the slow progress on the sedan. it will also become the dd while my two cavaliers go through osmosis. i will try to keep this up to date, but it is already in progress. so pics below.
when i brought it home.
then a little tear down
new 6cyl frame some build up.
in this pic you can tell how extremely high the lift is.
and how it finally sits. till tuesday
some of the stuff i have for it. not all that i have tho.
plans for it are.
4" lift (done)
6cyl 5 spd swap (was a 4cyl 5spd)
locker front and rear (waiting to be installed)
high pinion dana 30 front (done)
4.10 geared (also waiting)
rock sliders, (self designed)
tube fenders, (being the originals are destroyed.)
winch and mount, (wainting for install)
possible stinger
self designed rear bumper
15x8 rims with 33x12.50 mud terrians. (done)
under side skids (fuel tank, steering box, diffs, etc.)
rear exterior bash plate/panels (waiting to be installed)
probably other stuff that i can't think of but you get the jist of it. i just wish i was done so i could drive it.
looks awesome... definitely gotta keep this updated!...
"then a little tear down"
Just a slight lie, dont you think??

can't wait to see it back together!

nah i will keep the 30. its a high pinion out of a cherokee and will have the larger jointed shafts. the only problems i have seen with these is shattering pinion gears when they upgrade to alloy shafts.(being thats the weakest point.) since i will not be doing alloys i should not have that problem, just u joints and shafts breaking and i can get those at junk yard and put in new joints for half the price. the main worry i have is the junk 35 breaking. when i get the chance and money i will be putting a ford 8.8 in the rear and shouldn't have much of a problem with running 35" tires later on.
now for the suspension. i couldn't find a decently priced LA kit for the budget i am working with. so that why is stayed with a SA kit.
this build is on a budget and i am trying to keep it on the stock side with little to no moddifications done. reason being if i break some thing i can do to the local auto parts store and replace it fairly cheap also i can pick up spare parts when i go yard hoping. but thanks everyone for the comments and i am just as excited to get it on the road/trail too.

nah only 8 bolts and about a dozen connectors and it was off. that frame in those pics was not reused.
So what the hell is by the chain??
I need to remove the cab and bed from my truck so I can fix rust.
looks like a good candidate for a projector retrofit
Looks/sounds good. I like the color! Heres mine:
I've got a rough country 3.25 inch lift in the mail right now, should be here tuesday. Is that really only 4 inches of lift? looks bigger IMO.
yep thats only 4". keep in mind that the lift is brand new so the springs have not settled. i also have a winch for the front, and a whole lot of custom tube work to be done. not to mention the the crush corners and any other accesories i might add. most lifts do run higher even after settling. i thought about going rough country but decided not.because they say it rides super rough. but you'll have to post up how well you like it.
