Well, I sold the '08 Ninja 250 that I had. Two weeks later, I picked up this bad boy. It's a 2007 Honda CBR600RR. Found it at a dealership in northern WI. It's still brand new with full warranty. I was going to buy used, but for the price I got this one for, I couldn't turn it down. Only has 46 miles on it from test drives and such. Already bought frame sliders for it and installed a 5000K HID setup. I'm still going to keep my Z, but I don't think I'm going to go turbo anymore. At least not for another year or so. I'll throw the s/c back on and that will be good enough for me to play around with for now. Anyway, on with the pics.......
Pictures soon to come with the HID's on. I already snapped the pics but haven't had a chance to get them off of the camera. I've got some red reflective wheel stripes coming this week. Next mods for it will be red bottom fairings, black mid fairings, flush mount signals, rear fender eliminator, and maybe exhaust. Now all I have to do is wait for this damn snow to melt......

NICE PICKUP. A buddy of mine just picked up a 2008 3 days ago...funny thing is the first day he got it instead of riding it back home so he could garage it he kept it outside at his apt. and it snowed that night. Again, nice bike.

Thanks guys for all the nice comments! I can't wait to take it for a ride! I most definitely will always wear leather and a helmet. I'm not one to ride stupid. There is always the chance of someone else not paying attention, though. I think I'm a pretty good defensive driver though so that should count for something....
I've read a couple different professional reviews on it, and every one I have read says that it runs 10.3 @ 13X mph with a professional rider.

Nice! I loved my 250 when I had it. Was an awesome bike to learn on. Very forgiving. Retail on the CBR was $9500 I believe. But since it was brand new, but 2 years old, I got them talked down to $7500. Out the door with tax, title, and license I think it was $8,065.

Luckily I didn't have to ride it home. It was a 3 hour drive there, and 3 hour drive back. In 20 degree weather and salty roads, there is no way I would have been able to ride it. Got a nice enclosed trailer and strapped it down in there. I rode in the comfort of the truck :-)

It it was closer I probably would have ridden it home. But 3 straight hours of 20 degree weather didn't sound like much fun

nice looking bike! I almost bought a RR but ended up with a new R6. Theres so many things i love about the RR but at the same time so many things I hate.... The one thing that killed it for me was the gauges, just plain boring, and thats all you see when you ride.
Cant wait to see pics after you do what you plan on doing to it!
