I am currently in the market for my first bike that is officially mine, not just one I can borrow from a friend whenever I want to. I have a M class license and all of that but here is my question for some of you bike guys out there.
I am looking at a 2002 suzuki gsx-r 750 and an 01 honda cbr600 f41
The suzuki has never been laid down, it has 10,000 miles on it, adult riden, never abused, yoshimura slip on pipe, frame sliders, tinted wind screen, led turn signals and brake light. Asking price is 3500 obo
The Honda has 7,000 miles on it, has been laid down once, but has been fixed. Also has a yosh pipe on it....but...has recently started to become a stunt bike so the tank is smashed in, it has a cage on it, which can be removed if I get it, and a few homemade skid plates. Asking price is 4200 obo
I have riden both of these bikes, I feel more comfortable on the Suzuki both sitting and riding. From your guy's experience which would you go for if you could afford either.
The Honda sounds like a better deal to me...
Definately.. haha..
gixxer is such an obvious choice haha

especially if the cbr has been used for stunting, im sure its taken a lot more abuse. and jesus how big of a sprocket does the 600 have on it to pull the front tire up? lol ive known guys with cbr600's, and they have all said the 600 has a serious lack of low end power

of course im going to tell you gsxr because i ride one
the 02's are a badass looking model, what color is it?
and 10,000 miles isnt bad for an 02 at all.
Yeah I love the 00-02's because of how wide and comfy they are. Its blue and white with a blue windscreen and blue frame sliders, white wheels and a white seat bubble.
By they way, thanks for the insight guy's I really really appreciate it, most of my friends that ride around here have older cbrs so they were trying to veer me in that direction but a few guys I know that ride busas and gixxers are telling me the right way to go.
