the seats looks a bit weird (back seat pic), kind of like the leather material was 'pulled over' cloth seats or came in a package..... or maybe it is because it is the autoshow and people are man handling the car

Saw it at the show....
They have a crease in the door line as you can see, right below the handles....
They carried it on back to the rear quarter panel, and it actually looks like a dent in the body panel

I agree with that. If i remember right, Lincoln is supposed to be ditching the towncar so that opens up a FoMoCo lux replacement. And if this is the production model, its really nice looking. They are taking cues from the kinetic design in the Euro world and applying it to their cars here. Its about time Ford does something nice for the Taurus
The problem here is FORD should have released this years ago. THey are now just on par with the foreign competition if you ask me.

well I think it looks better than the Camry and Accord both inside in out overall. There are a few things that should be changed like adding another set of exhaust tips on the passenger side, manual shift automatic option on a 6 speed transmission (we all know ford will most likely use the 5 speed auto) and hopefully roll it out with the turbocharged direct injection engines. Just to name a few
Taurus just went from being the most boring basic people mover for decades to again being the coolest looking car Ford makes. I think it's cool the Taurus is again going to be the car that saves their ass. Good for them, i'd totally rock one of these.

then the unibrow chrome thing that connects the tail lights
then the big nasty steering wheel
then the seats that look worse then BMWs leatherette (prob the worst material ever used on a seat)
not to be so negative, but I thinkt he only thing I can say I think they got right on this car is the headlights and the front grill....

The front is hideous, I hate the chrome "scoops" Ford keeps adding to their cars, the crease looks horrible, the rear is just wrong (from the lights to the chrome bar to the bumper), and the interior makes me cry. The t-shifter? Really? A foot e-brake? You're joking now. That black piece on the steering wheel? I'm done.

haha I laughed at this cause I was thinking the same thing.. A foot e-brake? Wow.. And what is up with the steering wheel? Ford could only wrap 90% of the steering wheel in leather? I guess times are tough. No, I would not rock this, but maybe throw rocks at it.. Not a fan at all.
