Haha, I know, I'm definitely a tad jealous. Hell, my car cost $600 MORE than the Camaro. Oh well, if this were my car, I wouldn't want a V6, so a V8 swap would be a must. And to be perfectly honest, I prefer the T/A Firebird styling better. So, I may have been slightly shafted, but I still love my car, and judging by her driving skill (or lack there of) I could smoke her lol And I don't think I could trade, I'm too attached to my car to even imagine her behind the wheel of it.

Seems like she got a good deal on a good looking ride. My sister had one just like it and loved that car.

Looks like it's in good shape, although the mileage would scare me away. I'd be scared as hell to have one of those as a first car, but then again if it was my first, I wouldn't know how much better other cars are as far as seeing out & junk. I know people love 'em, but I have no desire to drive my husband's TA after riding in it, feels like a big 'ol boat full of blind spots, very difficult to see out the front & back.

Heck, both yours & your sis's cars blow the doors off my first car though, a 1986 Pontiac 6000 haha... and from that wreck I moved on to an 1986 Cavy! Oh boy!

lol thanks. the mileage acutally isn't too bad for an '00, hell I just hit 95,000 in the Cav about a month ago, and no serious issues. Well the window motors went and I had to pay $300 to have them replaced/installed. (my dad and I weren't quite comfortable tackling that job). So we'll see, if she doesn't like it/its not right, its going right back on eBay. lol

I'm afraid of anything GM around 100,000 haha... and next time, tackle those window motors! Those are a universal GM failure, not just a jbod thing unfortunately. I got a new motor at Autozone, whatever the cheapie is and and it is at least 2x faster than my remaining stock one, even years later. It's not that hard to do

haha, we ordered 1 motor on eBay and planned on doing it, but when we took the panels off and read into the autozone how-to online, my dad was pretty hesitant, and he NEVER is afraid to tackle any automotive blunder/repair. lol i posted a question in the interor forum and somebody told me to be extremely careful, that you could lose a finger. lol and the guy we got came to our house and changed both motors. so for one motor and all his labor for only $300 I guess wasn't too terrible. I would've much rather invested that into some suspension or toyo tails though...

lol... lose a finger? Bah! My brother & husband did it, just followed directions they found online. They're both mechanical, but never did it before & managed to keep fingers I wanna say it cost around $60 and maybe 2-3 hours since there wasn't any rush. The hard part is dealing with the rivets, but if you saw off the head, you can poke out the middle. Go all the way next time, you guys can handle it!

My grandma had a 6000 STE when I was growing up untill about 1996 I used to love hitting the metric units button and have her drive in km's for a few miles untill she realized how slow she was going. good times...

Fancy accessory! Mine didn't have that button, but it would have been fun if it did! Mine was an SE, but years later my mom & I bought an '86 LE, also no metric button. The dash was like a space ship, all of my friend thought it was so cool
