my brother just got one, any info would be great.
Cobalt with different bumpers, bolt for bolt the same car
^^^ Exactly what he said. The taillights on the Cobalt sedans and all the G5s are the same, the front and rear bumpers as well as the trunks are different on the coupes. Check out cobaltss.net if he needs any help.

I had a 2005 Cobalt base coupe and currently own a 2007 Cobalt SS/SC. So far, I had good luck with both cars. The 05 had the 2.2L Eco in it and the 07 is, of course, the LSJ 2.0L.
in 15 months, I racked up almost 50,000 miles on the 05.
in 24 months, I racked up 57,000 miles on the SS.
No troubles either car.
Good, bad... I'm the guy with the Cobalt SS.
It's just another ugly Delta body car..

Great meat and potatoes car. Will get you where you wanna go, is a good size for a daily driver, parts are cheap as dirt, it isn't ugly and can be modded for speed, fun or looks.
i have the GT and i love it. very fun little cars. like said already you can make them pretty quick with just bolt ons and look good with little things. heres a pic of mine. i have 25k on it. i dont drive it in the winter at all it sits in a heated garage under a cover. i use it in the summer and if i go on vacation.
the pics where takeing in NH driveing up mt washington

i think its the 2.2L eco also
If I was to get a cobalt or a g5 I would want the cobalt with the round tail lights and a g5 front on it kind like a cavfire deal except like people said it looks like they are even more compatible than the cavs and fires.
I just don't like the ergonomics compared to Js they have grown on me slightly every time I get in one but still seem underdeveloped.
The proper way of using the word seen. It is not I seen it that would be I saw it. He has seen the car is the right way to use the word. English class is Cool. By the way thats my sig
haha thanks man. the banner will be comeing off in the spring and i am lowering it also in the spring. i took it to the track this year and my best time with the stock tires was a 15.2 thats with me and my uncle in the car.
where can i find info on the g5 gt. ive searched to no avail. is it turbo like the colbalt? specs?
the g5 gt has the 2.4 motor for the 07-08s in 09 they stoped the 2.4 and just kept the 2.2l. for 07-08s the 2.4 is rated at 173hp 165torque with 91 for gas. the 5 speed does the 1/4mile in the low 15s and the auto is high 15s.check out www.g5club.net
thanx for the info. i appreciate it
