Does anybody know how I can contact Weineck? It's a German company that builds engines, drivetrains, and complete cars. I've been trying to contact them about a drivetrain but cannot reach them. I even used the contact info on their website to no avail.
This is just one of the cars they produced:
An 1100BHP and 1299LB-FT naturally aspirated V8, that has daily driver manners, All in a car that weighs 1000kgs.

hahah yea definately a fun way to die. :-)
No, they will not build you a 2.2.
And, I'd love to know what size engine is in that Cobra, it's gonna have to be big to make those numbers.
Kind of frivolous, but cool.
edit: Yeah... its 780 cubic inches. I'm no longer impressed at all...

I don't want them to build me a 2.2.
Even though it's 780 cubes, it's still very impressive to make 1100HP, 1200lb-ft of torque and still have streetability.

780 ci.... isnt that like 12Ls?
LOL

Thank you sir.
The fact that they made 1100hp with 780ci isn't impressive. The impressive thing is that they made 1100hp naturally aspirated with 780 cubes, that has mild enough manners to be daily driven.

Wow, you can look at a profile, neat. Would you like to rub rub on my 16.2, or hold it and stroke it for me?
No, 1100 hp, out of 12.9 liters isn't that hot.
if it was in a camaro or chevelle you guys would be all over it like flies on @!#$
1100 STREETABLE NA horsepower is impressive despite the motors large size
am I the only one who wants to hear it?

a 12.8?
you gotta be @!#$ kidding me. even messing up like that it should be way faster... I wonder if they ever got a decent run out of it.
Don't seem liek the guy can keep it under control. That launch was pretty pathetic, and his shifting is like someone just learning to drive a stick. Not to mention him missing that gear. All that could cause him to be slow enough to run a 12.8. If someone had the balls to go all out with it I think you could pull 9's out of it.

I'm probably the only one brave enough to say it, but it sounds like sh!t.
sounds almost like the ignition timing was off... I wonder if it was running correctly.
whats the use of having a car with 1100hp that you can drive everyday if you can never use the 1100hp properly?
seems like a giant waste to me.
12.9 liters of useless.
maybe no one told them the cobra is supposed to be a road race car? and that an important factor for road race cars is BALANCE.
that much power in a car that light with tires that skinny? no wonder they can't hook up.. what did they build this car for exactly again..?

I think someone did.

I have no signiture
The tires aren't exactly skinny, but I agree it'd have to be a handful to keep in a straight line from a dig. I was just curious to see what a drivetrain like costs. I'd like to see this drivetrain in a late 60's early 70's Mini tubbed muscle car.

if a cobra has skinny tires, then all passenger cars drive on donuts
He means skinny for 1100 horsepower.
If the guy can't control the power in a straight line, how's he supposed to control it through a turn?
Power is nothing without control. Dyno queen FTL.
And "street manners" is a highly subjective term. Some people think sputtering catless rotaries have "good street manners". Tell you what, if it passes US federal emissions standards, I'd be impressed. Because I could name you a lot of cars that DO make 100 hp/liter and still qualify as ULEV vehicles.... Do THAT with 12.9 liters and I'll worship you as a god lol.
