i need some thoughts on a problen a friend of mine is having with his '86 300zx




it ran before we did this now it wont run. it tryies to turn over but then doesnt have anything at all. checked the battery, there is gas in it, we upgrades the injectors to 420cc and it has a new ignition, we even sent out the ecu to get it reprogrammed. if anyone has any imput it would be greatly appreciated!!!! thank you!!

so you have an untested re-programmed computer that is supposed to run these 420cc injectors, and it will crank but not fire now?

yeah we sent the ecu to jim wolf tech in cali which is where he got the kit for the upgraded injectors. he called them and talked to them and they said with that kit he got needed to get the ecu re tuned. before we sent it it started and ran but sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders, i spoke with him this morning and he said he has gotten it started and moved it to put somthing by the garage but it wasnt pushing enough power to go back in the parking spot. he had to have someone push and him push the gas. anymore thoughts?
