The Fit with my new camera (The Fit + more)
Monday, October 27, 2008 5:48 PM
First real pictures (as in not camera phone) with both rear emblems shaved and the the front emblem blacked out.

And rather then making a separate thread....some pics along the way

These are from a few days ago but I was playing with 2 of flowers that are still kicking from my moms 2 weeks ago.

I found some LED ice cubes while cleaning out the fringe/freezer.

And one more of the Fit This was the right rear door aiming down the side of the car in a dark garage right after pulling in out of the rain.

failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

If you look at it in person its not as simple as just shaving it. That whole section comes out a few inches from where back of the grill is plus the H is sitting on a raised up section. When you remove the H its still the shape of an H under the actual emblem. The middle section also covers a big section of bumper that supports the top. There no way to shave the front emblem on the still grill and have it look right.

Because I want the wiper for winter. The original panel off the car is going back to the body shop and getting the wiper and emblem shaved, that one will go on for the rest of the year

Confused, I thought you had a new front grille of some sort?

Anyhow, looks good. I honestly kind of dug the Fit's emblems, I find it does look clean without but also somewhat cheap. Just personal opinion though.

Can't believe they already changed/slightly upgraded it for the new model year.

I love the front and side profile of the car. I don't know what the eff is up with the back though. I'd rock one

Yeah I got he different grill, put it on for about 3o seconds and hated it. So I decided to do the emblem black while its apart. I liked the black much better then the aftermarket. And nothing looks good with emblems Clean FTW. As for the model change... they starter the Fit a while back, they just never brought it to the US till 07 and for whatever reason only sold them in limited quantities for 07 and 08. That was a stupid choice cause they sold like crazy, before the 09 came out mass produced I was seeing 07-08's selling used for more then cost new because you can't get them new.

The blacked front emblem actually looks pretty good. Glad you went blue on the back and not black like you had me photoshop as an option for you.

The more I see your car, the more I like it. I want the GF to buy one, but I just can't convince her too.

You are unable to bring yourself to convince her too, or she just doesn't want one?
