'98 Eclipse Spyder GS-T

I am looking at this for the Cav's replacement, done some researching but thought I would see what everyone here thought.

The one I found is completely stock, and has 55,000 miles on it. It is in perfect condition and seems to be very well taken care of. Price is $8,500.

Discuss.

Not trying to start a war, I just know that there are a lot of people here that know a lot about cars and looking for facts.

I know all about crankwalk, and the price of parts seems to be a little high.

Thanks!

DSM's are very cheap to make quick. I have a friend who has 2 evos and 1 first gen talon. He said in his first gen talon he went like mid 13's on "free" mods as he called them because the 4g63t motors are so easy to mod with little cash.

I'm actually looking for one lol

LOL most people play $30,000 for a 40 year old "muscle" car

thats a big difference though. those cars are worth it.

not saying this gt-s isnt worth 8500, i was just using kbb which said in excellent condition, its worth 6500.

Big difference between a 40 year old and a ten year old car...like ones a classic.

lol i don't buy that classic BS. I honestly don't see nothing great about "muscle" cars, yeah they were the first ones of their time and blah blah but nothing special to me.

When people say "whats it look like" about a "muscle" car, i always say, "the same way it did in 1940" lol

get it...........change the timming belt and ditch the balance shaft. thats the first thing to do since you dont know the car. even tho it has 55k miles the belt is still rubber and rubber cracks and fails. Gotta love a Quad and it having a timming chain.....
